My art is myself, it is my silence in solitude, in the only true solitude letting me exist, hear inaudibly, see invisibly... I watch and I see a magician from an unknown land who forgot to remove a spell cast on that little boy walking in an infinite forest being penetrated by barely audible sounds… from the World of the Dead not so terrible, not so longed-for anymore. An eternal attempt to answer the question who I am is an never ending cycle of pictures with many titles which gently and sometimes boldly touch our conscience, our truth about ourselves. The closer to yourself the more difficult, the more mysteriously, all the unnamed things are gaining sense in order to actually lose it again… A picture become joy where time does not exist and the essence of life tells us that the faith makes miracles happen and I have no other choice… but to believe in them."
Biography: Krzysztof Sylwester ?ozowski was born 31 12 in 1970 in Sosnowiec. In 1990 he graduated from the secondary school of Art in Katowice. Later he studied Film Animation in Bielsko Bia?a. In 1993 he graduated from School of Teaching. In 1998 he graduated from the University of Silesia in Katowice (the Cieszyn branch) where he became a member of the Faculty of Pedagogic and Artistic Education, with specialization in painting and drawing. Lozowski is also a member of the Union of Polish Artists and Designers.
